The LichtWART module addresses all DALI drivers in ascending order starting with address #01.
If several DALI drivers are to be replaced, it is therefore mandatory to work in ascending order, starting with the defective power supply with the smallest DALI address:
- completely de-energize the systems and LichtWART
- remove the defective DALI driver and insert a new, not yet addressed DALI driver
- switch on power -> LichtWART module recognizes the new DALI drivery and assigns the smallest free address (formerly defective DALI driver)
- repeat the whole procedure for further DALI drivers to be exchanged
Important - operating hours are reset
When replacing a DALI driver, the new driver will automatically restart with 0 operating hours. The operating hours of the removed power supply are no longer displayed and should be noted down beforehand if necessary.
